■ Butterfly Hatching -- During April come and watch the progress of the library's butterfly hatching all month. The butterflies will be on display in the Youth Department. There also will be special butterfly related activities all month.

■ Toddler Time -- Every Wednesday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m., Toddler Time is for children to hear stories and participate in music and movement activities as well as socialize with same aged peers. Play materials and activities will be provided by the library.

■ Adult Craft-Phone Arm Band -- From 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 13, adults can make the perfect phone arm band to hold items and keep their hands free during outdoor activities. Signup is required and class size is limited to 14.

■ Lego Club -- From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, Lego Club will build to a theme. There are different themes each month for club members in grades 1-6. Legos offer something physical, imaginative and mechanical while increasing attention span.

■ Teen Fantastic Beast Palooza -- From 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, teens can join fellow Potterheads to celebrate the new FBAWTFT movie. The group will create their own wands, make a Bowtruckle and watch FBAWTFT while enjoying some snacks.

■ Butterfly Garden Family Event -- On Friday, April 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., families may make the perfect stepping stone for a butterfly garden, while learning what flowers butterflies enjoy. Signup is required with a limit of 24 in each session.

■ Adult Book Discussion -- On Friday, April 21 at 11 a.m. this month's book is "Being Mortal" by Atul Gawande. This book can be picked up at the circulation desk. New members are always welcome, so come and enjoy coffee, snacks and lively conversation.

■ Teen Craft-Kool-Aid Lip Gloss -- From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 24 teens may create their own lip gloss with simple ingredients. No sign up is required.

■ Library Open House -- On Saturday, April 29 beginning at 10:30 a.m., all ages are welcome to join the library for the dedication of its Marjorie's Alphabet Soup Diner at 10:30 a.m. and stay to enjoy refreshments while checking out new features and services now available at the library. Preview the upcoming summer reading program, "Build A Better World." Adults can see new periodicals and conversation area with charging tables. The library also added mobile circulation and featured collection areas.
