St. Peter Catholic Church Mission Society is playing host to its annual Buy-Me-Now (BMN) Silent Auction 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 12 and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 13 in the church basement at 220 E. Butler St. in Loudonville.
The St. Peter Mission Society has been in existence for 70 years and consists of 15 women who want to make a difference in the community.
In addition to monetary donations to the community, they also make 20 homemade comforters for the Day of Sharing, cut coupons for veterans and roll bandages that are sent overseas.
This event benefits local charities.
Seventy-plus gift certificates, theme baskets and items will be available for purchase at a predetermined BMN price and taken home that day.
If the item isn't purchased outright, the highest bidder will receive the item.
Gift certificates include Cedar Point, Weekend at Put in Bay, Kings Island, overnight at Xanterra Mohican Lodge,Tree Frog Ziplining, Snow Trails, Dinner at Landolls Castle, Mohican Adventure, Pleasant Hill Golf, Loudonville Canoe Livery, Merry Dari, Meijers, COSI, Mohican Gardens, Heffelfinger Meats, Loudonville Tire, Des Dutch Essenhaus, Possum Run Greenhouse, Keim Lumber, Mohican Country Store ,Rhoads Jewelry, Arrowpoint Campground, Four Seasons, Stakes IGA, Creative Outlet, Richardson Greenhouse, Truax Printing, Buzzards, Trails End, Taco Bell, Buckeye Pizza, Whiffletree, Kroc Center, Hawkins, Kiefer Florist, Rainbow Springs, Honey Baked Ham, and Olde Town Barber.
Items included are from Raby's Hardware, Farmers & Savings Bank, Glamour Gallery, Loudonville Drive Thru and Activewarz. Additional items include homemade trays, baby cradle, step stool, American Girl Doll, cash explosion tickets, homemade pies, Henley soap, haircut with Mona McMullen and Vera Bradley. There will be 20 theme baskets.
