The Loudonville-Perrysville Board of Education will have its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8 in the C.E. Budd School conference room (gym stage).
Loudonville High School, in conjunction with Academic Boosters, will play host to its Academic Awards program for grades 7 to 12 Tuesday, May 9 in the LHS gymnasium. The junior high program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the high school program will begin at 1:30 p.m. Many students will be recognized for academic achievement attained during the 2016-17 school year. The public is invited to attend.
The Perrysville Lions is playing host to an ice cream social 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21. Menu includes chicken sandwich, brats and kraut, baked beans, potato salad, homemade ice cream, pie and drinks. A $7 donation is requested. Carry-outs are available.
The 14th annual Lions Car Show in downtown Perrysville is Saturday, June 24. All makes and models are welcome. Registration fee is $5. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 entries.
Enjoy '50s and '60s music by Jeff Frankford and a 50/50 drawing.

The show is co-sponsored by Mansfield Plumbing Products. Proceeds will go to the Ashland County Cancer Society and other Lions projects in the community.
